Lead Embedded Software Engineer Position – Onsite in Mulgrave (Melbourne) – Full-Time Permanent Role – Salary Range: $135,000-$145,000 + Super
Join a prominent Australian electronics company, working in a dynamic, transparent, and high-performing team environment. As the Embedded Software Engineering Lead, you’ll have the opportunity to take ownership, drive initiatives, and exert influence. This position requires onsite presence in Mulgrave, Melbourne, specifically in the South Eastern Suburbs.
Important Notes:
- Location: Mulgrave, 25 kilometers from Melbourne CBD
- Work Schedule: 5 days per week in the office, not fully remote or hybrid
- Transportation: Must have a car as public transport is limited; free onsite parking is available
- Compensation: Permanent role with a salary range of $135,000-$145,000 base + super (negotiable for the right candidate)
- Eligibility: Only candidates currently in Australia; no overseas applicants
- Relocation: Open to interstate candidates willing to move to Melbourne

Due to team expansion, a position for an Embedded Software Engineering Lead has become available.
Key Requirements:
- Team Leadership and Management experience (mandatory)
- Embedded Software Engineering expertise (mandatory)
- Proficiency in C++
- Familiarity with C, C#, Linux, Python, Java (bonus)
- Background in Solution Architecture
- Minimum 7 years of overall experience as a Software Engineer
Bonus Requirements:
- Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS)
